this, I did for allison holker (a former contestant on sytycd). I’ll just paste the description I have on flickr:

This was done in Corel Painter 11 and Photoshop. Artist block has gotten the best of me recently and I haven’t been able to create anything in the past month. This is took a lot out of me, too. It’s not that great, unfortunately, but I’m satisfied with what I accomplished considering all the crap I’ve had to deal with.

This is in dedication to one of the most beautiful dances I’ve had the privilege of seeing, both on Television and live. It’s called “Fix You” to the Coldplay song. It is danced by Allison Holker and Robert Roldan; choreographed by Travis Wall. It’s touched my heart and I will never forget what a saddening and gorgeous piece it is.
